Christmas Service and Lunch – this Saturday, Dec 6, 11.00am

Thursday, December 4th, 2008

Yes it’s our Christmas Service this Saturday and I’m excited. This year we are having our Christmas Service on our Testimony Day which means I don’t have to preach! :) No, seriously, the reason I’m excited is because our guests this weekend will have the opportunity to hear first hand how the Christmas story is still changing and impacting our church’ s lives 2,000 years later.

Has the Christmas story changed you? Is knowing Jesus impacting your life today? Not feeling so good about Christmas this year? Want to know how God can help? Feel free to mosey down to the “the church you belong to” this Saturday at 11.00am for carols and stories and the best Christmas lunch you’ll find anywhere!

We’d love you to join us. It’s the usual story . . . 11am, Saturday, cnr Johnson and Devonshire Sts, Chatswood!

Herb Larsen comes to town, September 21 and 22

Monday, July 16th, 2007

A huge thanks to Jeremy for posting the links to Herb Larsen’s sermon series. Without even knowing it Jeremy has served us the entree for what we hope to be an awesome spiritual feast on Friday night, September 21 and Saturday, September 22. In place of our Big Camp, Sydney Style or the more recently coined “Festival of Worship”, the Greater Sydney Conference has opted for churches to meet in regions this year and Chatswood Church, belonging to the Northern Region, will meet at Fox Valley Community Church or Wahroonga Church depending on age. I will share more details about this in the future but for now, lock in the dates!
